"I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.'" ~ Muhammad Ali

On a cold November night in 2002, I was born in a hospital located in beautiful Stillwater, Minnesota. My mom was finishing up her senior year of college at UW-River Falls and my dad lived with her in a small apartment. Once my mom graduated, my family and I moved up to Cushing, WI to a small farm house that my grandparent's owned. While I lived there, my sister, Taryn, was introduced into the world. After 5 years of my life, my family and I moved to Dresser, WI, where I now call home. When I was young, I loved to play video games. I would spend any free time I could with a controller in hand, staring at a screen. When I got into middle school, I would find my true passions. I began playing football and wrestling. Both of these sports mean a lot to me. Ever since I started playing them, there has not been a time where I haven't been doing one or the other. I just wrapped up my Junior year of football, earning First Team All-Conference Honors, you can see my highlight reel here clicking Now looking forward to wrestling, I am looking to have another great sports season. My goal is to have the option to play sports at the collegiate level, either football or wrestling. I work almost every day at sports in some aspects and I am motivated to have sports be able to help me get my college education in order to have a successful life. Whether I play college sports or not, it is important to me that the college that I attend is one that I like and puts me in the best position to receive an education and lead a life that I enjoy. Some future schools I have been looking at are St. Cloud State, the University of Minnesota, Augsburg, St. Thomas, and UW-La Crosse. My goal at the moment is to either major somewhere in the business or finance area, or to be a teacher. These are my goals, but my main focus is on working to do well right now in order to set myself up for the best future possible, because, in the words of Abe Lincoln: "The best way to predict the future is to create it".
