August 7th, 2002. Whatís that day one might ask? That is the day I was born!
I lived in the small town of Luck, Wisconsin with my mom, my dad, and my three older siblings.
When we lived in Luck, my siblings and I would always play with our neighbors who were also kids and
have bike races on our street. Sadly, my Mom and Dad ended up getting divorced when I was about five years old,
it was for the better though. At least I still went to see my Dad every other weekend. Later, my mom met my stepdad, Glenn.
The month after I started my second-grade year at Luck school, I moved to Osceola because my Mom and Glenn
got married. The house was not the best house, considering the basement would flood every time it rained,
and it seemed to be haunted but we made the most of it.
After that year, we moved to Eureka, Wisconsin. This was my third-grade year and is also
when my siblings and I started going to St. Croix Falls Schools. I decided to start getting
involved in extra-curricular activities to make friends. Although I was never good at it, I
decided to join basketball, and at the time, I fell in love with it. Later, I decided to give
volleyball a try as well. After that, my family moved to Dresser, Wisconsin so we could be closer to town.
From there, things started to go downhill. I was still involved in basketball and volleyball and
loved it; however, around my seventh and eighth-grade year, my mom and my stepdad began to not get
along so well. This was also around the time that my two brothers graduated and moved out. This is
when I had made the decision to quit basketball because I began to not enjoy it anymore. In between
my eighth-grade year and my freshman year, I remember coming home from my biological Dadís house so
excited to go to the Polk county fair. But what I didnít know was that I would have to skip the fair
to start packing to move because my mom and stepdad were getting a divorce. I remember being so upset
moving that week because it felt like I had lost everything that mattered the most to me. I would no
longer get to see the father-figure in my life every day who I got along with so well, I had to leave
the dog I loved, all on top of my brothers moving away not long before this.
Eventually, my mom, my sister, and I all got settled into an apartment in St. Croix Falls,
where I still live today with just my Mom and I, and soon my Momís boyfriend.
Throughout the years, I have been involved in many different school activities. Currently, I am involved in softball, although
it seems like I am always getting injured while playing, I still absolutely love the game and have been playing since my eighth-grade year.
This will also be my second year involved in kinship and forensics, and it was my first year involved on the tech crew for drama.
Eventually, all those activities will come to an end and I will be graduating high school. I have
not gone on any college visits yet but a college that really caught my eye and I would like to visit
is Northern Michigan University. It caught my eye mostly because the location is beautiful. They also have
a marching band which I am very interested in being involved in through college because now, I am involved in
color guard for marching band and I love it. Itís one of my favorite things to do. Though I have an idea of a
college I want to attend, I am undecided of what I would like to go to college for. A couple ideas I have are an
elementary school teacher or something in the medical field, I think radiology would be cool.
