    About Me

"Art is the concrete representation of our most subtle feelings." - Agnes Martin

You know how the saying goes? First is the worst, second is the best? I like to believe that to be true for me. On April 16th, 2003, snowy and cold, Raelynn Alexis was born, somewhere around 3 o'clock in the afternoon, 8 lbs. 6oz. Out of my two siblings, I'm the middle child. Flash forward 16 years, I now have a long and quite distinguished list of things I'm involved with. Are you ready for it? In school, I am co-captain for the football cheer team, captain in the following year, manager for both JV and Varsity girls basketball, and a First Soprano in our 10/12 Choir. Outside of school, I have acted in two productions, Peter Pan (Mar. 2018) and Cinderella (Sept. 2018) at Festival Theatre, a professional theatre located just down the street from my house. This past summer, I got the opportunity of a lifetime, to represent the community that I have lived in all of my life as 2nd Princess. Though we're just getting started, I cannot wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for me. When I'm not running around like a fool who has involved herself in way too much, I enjoy spending my down time with my family and friends, or writing.

Art, in any form, has always been a huge passion and piece of my life, and I hope I can continue those opportunities into the rest of my life. My current plans for the future are to attend NDSU, UW-River Falls or North Central University for a major in journalism and minor in English. Will my plans change as the rest of the year goes on? Quite possibly, however, my plan as of now is to pursue some kind of education following graduation.

In my everyday life, dealing with the good times and the bad, I like to follow something along the lines of performing to the best of my ability, proving to myself and to others that I can do anything I set my mind to, even when times get rough.

"The best way to predict your future is to create it." - Abraham Lincoln
