"Through hard work, perseverance, and a faith in God, you can live your dreams" -Ben Carson
On January 6, 2003 I made my entrance into the world. I was born to two wonderful parents who would later move into a house in the small town of Dresser. It was in that house where our family grew
with the additions of my sisters, Kaylee and Samantha. My sisters and I grew up with the passion of adventure and performance. To this day I still remember all of the dance and singing
concerts performed in our basement with no one but my parents as audience. My parents encouraged creativity and it really showed as a child. My parents raised us with the Catholic faith and the belief
that hard work will get you far.
I have always been very active and love to stay busy. I am involved in many clubs including student council, kinship,
clowns, and NHS. I enjoy spending time with children and find myself signing up for every activity that gives me an opportunity to.
Sports have always been a passion of mine. My dad exposed me to all athletic activities from the day I could walk. Thanks to all the time he spent with me, I am now I successful athlete and am
improving everyday. I have been playing basketball, softball, and volleyball since kindergarten and am currently playing all three. Outside of my school basketball team, I am also on a club team
called the Force. When playing for the force, I had the opportunity to travel to Chicago and Ames where we competed against the top teams across the state.

I also have the chance to play for a club volleyball team,Club Red, where I get the chance to play with teammates outside and within my school.
As a child I always dreamt about becoming a teacher, but a lot has changed since then. I am now aware of the wide variety of occupations available to me and am having a difficult time choosing what
I want to do. As of now, all I am sure of is that I will be attending college and possibly playing college basketball. My occupational goal is to provide a service of support to people, more specifically something like social work or therapy. Whatever occupation I go into, I hope to give
back and influence others in need.
“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable,
to be compassionate,
to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
