I was born on May 25th, 2001 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. At the age of four I moved to a small town in Oregon named La Pine. I went to kindergarten there but soon after moved back to St. Croix Falls. Ever since that move back, I've called this place my home. As a child, I loved geography. I used to study maps and capitals and dream about traveling. I also liked to play soccer, hang out with friends, go home and watch TV with a Capri Sun, all of the things kids loved to do. In Middle School, I found a love for photography, and saved up for my first camera by mowing lawns. My love for traveling, photography, and videography has only grown since.

"The most dangerous risk of all - spending your life not doing what you love on the bet you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later." - Randy Komisar

As of now, I am a 16 year old junior in high school, living with my mother in a small midwest suburb. Most of my time is filled with staying on top of my school work, working to save money, and expressing my creativity through photography and film. You can click here to view a gallery of my photos. Slowly, I feel myself transitioning into a more independent person and I love it. Spirituality and different philosiphies of life have improved my present life tremendously. These philosophies have taught me that my life, and life in general, is larger than St. Croix Falls. In order to live my best life, I consistently try to confine myself to the present and make the best out of every moment. However, at the end of the day, nothing is that serious; we all just need to take a step back and spread love.

"Ten years from now, make sure you can say that you chose your life, you did not settle for it" - Mandy Hale

I see my future as very bright. While I try to keep my mind in the present, I do often dream about my future. As of now, my goal for the future would be to be a freelance filmmaker and travel the world. This career is not easy to get into, I can't just go to any college around here, get a degree, and instantly find a perfect job. Freelance filmmaking is all about experience and risk, not necesarily the education. That being said, I do think it's best for me to go to a film school after high school instead of jumping right into the field. That way, I can move to a larger city and make connections. The colleges I'm considering are in Milwaukee, Chicago or Southern California. My biggest fear in life is settling for a lifestyle that I'm unhappy with. I do not believe I would be happy working an office job in a rural town. Traveling the world and expressing myself through film and photography is what seems best to me.
