"People ask what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."

- Roger Hornsby

I was welcomed into this world in October of 2002 at the St. Croix Falls Hospital. I have lived with my parents, Mike and Steph at my house near Deer Lake since I was born. My brother, Miles was born in 2004, and then in 2007, my youngest brother, Elliot was born and our family was complete. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life and my family. I have lived with a dog in the house for almost my entire lifetime and I wouldn't want it any other way. Besides being with my family, my primary hobby is spending time in the outdoors. I hunt for a variety of species that our area offers and occasionally travel to other states to chase their game. Fishing is another thing I enjoy doing whether it is during the summer or in the winter on ice. When I am not in the woods or on a lake, you can usually find me on an athletic field. I play football and baseball with baseball being my favorite. My primary position in baseball is pitcher but I also enjoy hitting. In both my freshman and sophomore year I earned All-Conference honors in baseball, while also receiving the Rookie of the Year award my freshman year and the Offensive Player of the Year my sophomore year. Feel free to visit my team's Wissports page to view our stats and record. Besides just working on baseball in season, I chose to work outside of the season on my pitching to gain velocity. This consists of throwing in the gym and also doing special weight room workouts. I hope that my hard work and determination can lead to playing collegiate baseball as this has been a goal of mine since I started playing. In the near future, I plan on attending a four year university that is fairly close as I would like the freedom to come home anytime and spend time with my family. As of now, I am undecided on what major to go into but I know that whatever I set my goals on, I need to give 100% effort.

"A dog will teach you unconditional love. If you can have that in your life, things won't be too bad"

- Robert Wagner
